Stoked about Tomorrow Night!

I've always admired Sheila E. for her raw,natural talent and she still amazes me til' this day...One of my fondest memories of her family, was when we were doing a radio show in the Oakland, CA area and Sheila E's mom called in to the radio station and invited our family over for dinner....we all went of course..and were fortunate to meet her mom and sister..but Sheila was on tour or out of town, I can't recall, but it seemed like our families just connected so naturally, and they were all so down to earth....We finally did meet Sheila E. in Minneapolis at the Minnesota Music Awards and of course at Prince's Chanhassen Studio's..Paisley Park! She's just as beautiful in person as she is in her photo's..very petite lil' gal! When my sis Lei called me yesterday and asked if I was up to going, I was like..it is ON like DONKEY KONG!!!! So I managed to get off work and we're headed to the Salt Lake Jazz Festival...Kids and all to have a fun night with the Escovedo's.......This is a pic with her brother Juan and father Pete Escovedo who will be performing with her! Isn't she just gorgeous!!!!I will take photo's, and post them late tomorrow evening! that's if they'll allow camera's.....YAY!!!! I'm going to a CONCERT!!!!LOL!

A lil' Bummed for 2 Reasons...

Just a brief Blog before I hit the sack.......A couple of days ago at my 361/2 week Dr. appointment, I was all excited to set the date with my Dr. for 08/08/08 and lo and behold my dreams were crushed, I forgot that there might just be a gazillion other women that were thinking along the same lines, so of course with my Dr. on the line with the hospital nurse to see if that was available,it was a quick NO...all taken and nothing available that day...apparently they are quite busy for the 1st 2 weeks of Aug. that the only day that was open for my C-sec was 04AUG....that's my first bummer....2nd Bummer is that we have a "My Sisters" show at the Brigham Young Park at Temple Square on 5Aug, so I will not be able to perform with them...BOOHOO!!!! It's been scheduled for quite some time, so there's no way they can change the date....but it's all good...the show must go on,I'll just be expecting them all at the hospital after the show is over!!! LOL!!!

All in all, I've had a couple of days to get over being upset....and I'm good now...just thankful that baby is healthy as ever, very strong heartbeat...and I'm happy with whatever day this lil' bugger decides to join our lil' family!!! Goodnite everyone...Life is GOOD!!! Love, ME!!!

Finally Zion's turn at the Dentist!!!

The 7th of July came around real FAST...and today is our lil' Zion's 1st Official Visit to the Dentist's office with Dr. Cameron Quayle.....Just about to enter the bldg with his older brother Kingston and his 2 cousins that slept over lastnight...Kyle and Eli Wilson!!!!Let's get it on!!!The 4 mishaps!!!!!LOL!

Just took a fun ride on the elevator to the 2nd floor,with my Capri-Sun in hand and ready for my 1st appointment...All smiles still!!!!

The whole ordeal is over and I'm happy exiting the bldg with my new,fresh Winnie-the-Pooh toothbrush and lil' treat bag with my Dinasaur floss-a ma-jig... that was rough, now MOM let's get the heck outta dodge!!!! I've had enough for Today!

Proud of you son...the great news is that none of his teeth are sooo bad that they need to be extracted..just the 4 front teeth will need white caps over them and 1 upper back tooth they will put a silver crown on it..so this is where I go home and sit and discuss the upcoming bill..which I think after the Insurance covers their part, we'll be left with the $580.00 some odd dollars out of pocket....let's hope my family deductible has been met, otherwise...new baby comes first than we'll get to your lil' teeth Zion....Crazay huh! but it's gotta be done, or otherwise your children will grow up resenting you for the fact that you never took care of their teeth!!!!LOL!! but it seems to all work out in the end!! Don't forget to schedule your 6 month cleaning ya'll!!!!

My Due Date in QUESTION ?????

Let me start by wishing all my friends and family a belated 4th of JULY...hopefull you all were out enjoying time with your loved ones and celebrating our FREEDOM which I am so thankful for....we were able to soak in the sun and enjoy yummy BBQ by the pool all day with some of my sisters and fam..than Daddy Eli was our Firework Maestro right at our home in our driveway along with our whole block going crazy with the fireworks..it was a long,but FUN day....haven't uploaded my pics yet,and am blogging from work ( I know, bad me) so I'll post up some pics of our FUN day later on tonite and share.....

Back to the QUESTION at hand......Since the first time I went in to confirm my pregnancy I was told that my due-date was 29JUL, I take blame for that because when the nurse asked me when the first day of my last P was, i just randomly threw out a date, but I chuckled because the 29th is the same day my last son Zion was born...anyhoo...the next visit was my first official ultra-sound and after measurements were taken, my due-date than became the 14th of Aug..I was stoked because my best-friend Carol from Minnesota was born on that day and I shot her a email telling her right away....well a couple of months later, I had another ultra-sound done to confirm the sex and due to different measurements the due-date was now showing to back in JUL again, this time the 28JUL...well, we're here at the 9th month of my pregnancy and my Dr. just told me to pick a C-sec day antime between the 3Aug to 8Aug...so can anyone take a wild GUESS in which date I chose????? You got it.....08/08/08....YEAH!!!!!!!! my eldest son was born on 2/22/02....so I think it'll be FUN...plus my neighbor friend, Elaine was telling me that in the Chinese custom/traditions, the number 8 is a very GOODLUCK number...so I was more stoked....not that I'm superstituous in anyway!!! So there you have it, unless my water breaks ealrier or my body speaks to me earlier,that is the DAY we shall welcome our 3rd son....YEAH!!!!!! no more ??????? in my mind!!! Good Day!

Tossin' and a Turnin'

Yep, it's just about 2:30 AM......going on my 3rd night of Insomnia!!! had to get up and do something to settle my mind....so here goes my after-midnight BLOG!!!

Forgive me if I sound like I'm totally dreamy or hallucinating, I am a bit sleep-deprived but nevertheless I feel the urge to BLOG!!!!

Entering my 9th month of Pregnancy, and now wanting more than ever to touch and hold my new lil' one...Besides the obvious physical ailments that I'm going through, the emotional anticipation of greeting yet another special spirit from heaven has been heavy on my mind...Having been through 2 other pregnancies,both which were very different (1st a Vaginal, 2nd a C-section) yet very memorable and joyful experiences, I have my typical worries with this new addition...of course, my AGE (closer to 40) and just finding out from my last Dr's visit that due to the rapid growth in weight of this lil' guy that the V-sec (vaginal birth after a C-sec) is now out of the question..too high of a percentage of the baby getting stuck in the birth canal, me possibly hemorrhaging to death, or affecting the baby in several different ways,that he's just not willing to take that risk...So that has weighed a bit on my mind..I of course have decided to go with the Dr's orders( expertise/knowledge )...I've been very fortunate and blessed to have a couple of brothers that live near by that have always been available at my request for a Priesthood Blessing prior to each of my children, so I know that will bring me the Peace and Comfort that will take the edge off what I've been feeling...

So before I end for the night, I need to atleast VENT a little.......and if you're super sensitive or have no sense of Humor than this is where you need to stop reading...LOL!!!

* I just love the fact that I've tipped the scale over the 200 lb mark!(being that my other 2 pregs i was 191 lbs ON the Delivery Table!
* I just love the fact that I have a 6yr old that is already bored of summer and a 2 yr old
that still wants me to hold him!
* I just love the fact that I have a husband walking around PAIN-FREE and hasn't offered
once to give me a foot massage!
* I just love the fact that I've grown these beautiful array of purple/lavender/green shades of
vericose veins on my left calf area (very sexy)!
* I just love the fact that every time I have to get in or out of the car, it takes me going through
this whole breathing apparatus session, and deciding which leg I should land on first because
they both go through their stages of wanting to cramp up wherever and whenever!
* I just love the fact that I feel like I have a 24/7 stuffy nose/cold!
* I just love the fact that regardless of knowing what I should and should-not eat, I eat the latter!!! for some reason this baby wins for Mommy being #1 Sweet-Tooth!!

and DRUM ROLL PLEEEEEEEZE!!!!!!!! last but not least............

* I absolutely LOVE the fact that whether I sneeze, cough,laugh,or make any sudden movements......there goes my Bladder!!!!

This did me good, I'm already yawning and my eyes are ready to Shut!!!A little Sarcasm is always good!!! I guess I just made up my mind to blog a bit more on my last month of being Prego...so I shall Blog in the near future on my thoughts and feelings til baby #3 arrives!
