Happy Birthday to you son....I want you to know that I love you very much and am still so grateful to our Heavenly Father for blessing ME with YOU...you've been a delight and your little spirit is so special! HAPPY 43RD BIRTHDAY TO THE ELDEST IN OUR FAMILY!!!

Wishing my oldest brother Leroy Kalanite Wolfgramm a very Happy Happy Birthday to you today! yep, he's the eldest of 17 children.....I just want to let him know how much I do love and respect him, and am very grateful that he is my brother....What we both have in common is that he's the oldest BOY in the fam and I'm the oldest GIRL in the fam....so we both probably in our own ways feel that we have a bigger responsibility to make sure our family stays close and what not..He was the only sibling in our family that was born in the Friendly Islands of the Kingdom of Tonga and also the only one who can speak fluently in the Tongan language....I've always admired his sense of GENIUS, literally can read a manual on basically anything and have it mastered in no time....I do have to give credit to him for all that I know musically, he taught me how to play the piano and to learn how to play by simply listening....My memories of him as a child was that he was very studious...loved to read,very creative,was a great older brother to his younger brothers,was more on the SHY side, had a very humbleness about him, was like a sponge that just soak everything in....as he grew older into his teen years, he was very obedient to our parents...and was literally a Momma's boy...one that always had and showed respect to our parents and still does til this day,always proud of his Tongan/German heritage...He studied Theology in highschool and has always been very spiritually natured and into learning about all kinds of religions. Has always had a very strong, unwavering testimony of the gospel, ALWAYS had friends around him....mostly who were into music...because his whole life revolved around music...his room was like a mini-studio with every possible instrument available and he would be up to the wee hours writing songs,creating new beats etc....as he was approaching his mid 30's he was still single and we all were starting to worry a bit, until one day his beautiful shining Bride..Ana appeared and now they have been married for I think 11 years with 3 handsome sons living in Arizona....Although we live in different states and our visits are not as frequent, I know our family bond is still strong and that he has made a life for him and his family that is one of PEACE, LOVE and HAPPINESS....Miss you brother and very excited to see you, Ana and the boys next week during the Pioneer Week here in Salt Lake...Thanks again for all that you do for our immediate family...you've always been a Great example to me and have inspired me in many different ways to always try and be a better individual...We've all come a long way and if it wasn't for the Gospel and all that we've been taught during our upbringing from our Parents/Grandparents we all would be lost..but I'm so grateful that I have such a huge family that I know I can always count on one of you's to call when the going gets tough...especially all my 9 sisters.....who can ask for more....so anyways may your day be filled with lots of suprises,and hugs and kisses from you cute boys and wifey!!!! and may you get all that you've wished or dreamed for today!!!! Just a quick blog.......my hubby came home and told me to check out this website....anyways, I'm still in the middle of reading..but so far real interesting and hitting some nerves of mine...especially about how our world has changed and how the many prophecies from our former prophets..Bible and Book of Mormon are happening as we are living in this world...Just when you get so comfortable in your daily living, it's nice to be reminded that we are literally living in the "Last Days" and that we as a people have to be prepared spiritually,mentally,physically,emotionally,temporally..just to endure what lies ahead of us in the real near future...May we all stay close to our Heavenly Father in these trying times is my prayer....love you all.........http://www.awakeandarise.org

Stoked about Tomorrow Night!

I've always admired Sheila E. for her raw,natural talent and she still amazes me til' this day...One of my fondest memories of her family, was when we were doing a radio show in the Oakland, CA area and Sheila E's mom called in to the radio station and invited our family over for dinner....we all went of course..and were fortunate to meet her mom and sister..but Sheila was on tour or out of town, I can't recall, but it seemed like our families just connected so naturally, and they were all so down to earth....We finally did meet Sheila E. in Minneapolis at the Minnesota Music Awards and of course at Prince's Chanhassen Studio's..Paisley Park! She's just as beautiful in person as she is in her photo's..very petite lil' gal! When my sis Lei called me yesterday and asked if I was up to going, I was like..it is ON like DONKEY KONG!!!! So I managed to get off work and we're headed to the Salt Lake Jazz Festival...Kids and all to have a fun night with the Escovedo's.......This is a pic with her brother Juan and father Pete Escovedo who will be performing with her! Isn't she just gorgeous!!!!I will take photo's, and post them late tomorrow evening! that's if they'll allow camera's.....YAY!!!! I'm going to a CONCERT!!!!LOL!

A lil' Bummed for 2 Reasons...

Just a brief Blog before I hit the sack.......A couple of days ago at my 361/2 week Dr. appointment, I was all excited to set the date with my Dr. for 08/08/08 and lo and behold my dreams were crushed, I forgot that there might just be a gazillion other women that were thinking along the same lines, so of course with my Dr. on the line with the hospital nurse to see if that was available,it was a quick NO...all taken and nothing available that day...apparently they are quite busy for the 1st 2 weeks of Aug. that the only day that was open for my C-sec was 04AUG....that's my first bummer....2nd Bummer is that we have a "My Sisters" show at the Brigham Young Park at Temple Square on 5Aug, so I will not be able to perform with them...BOOHOO!!!! It's been scheduled for quite some time, so there's no way they can change the date....but it's all good...the show must go on,I'll just be expecting them all at the hospital after the show is over!!! LOL!!!

All in all, I've had a couple of days to get over being upset....and I'm good now...just thankful that baby is healthy as ever, very strong heartbeat...and I'm happy with whatever day this lil' bugger decides to join our lil' family!!! Goodnite everyone...Life is GOOD!!! Love, ME!!!

Finally Zion's turn at the Dentist!!!

The 7th of July came around real FAST...and today is our lil' Zion's 1st Official Visit to the Dentist's office with Dr. Cameron Quayle.....Just about to enter the bldg with his older brother Kingston and his 2 cousins that slept over lastnight...Kyle and Eli Wilson!!!!Let's get it on!!!The 4 mishaps!!!!!LOL!

Just took a fun ride on the elevator to the 2nd floor,with my Capri-Sun in hand and ready for my 1st appointment...All smiles still!!!!
Just entering the front foyer where the JUNGLE starts..I think this is such a great way to get lil' ones to relax and have a great experience at the dentist...We're COOL..at the Safari!
They gave him a monkey to hold onto..Curious George..that took the edge off!

Yay! he was able to grip down nice and hard for the nurse to get a good X-ray!

Couldn't hold it in any longer, out came the tears and screeching,but seconds after the grape flavor kicked in that seemed to suffice!!!!

The whole ordeal is over and I'm happy exiting the bldg with my new,fresh Winnie-the-Pooh toothbrush and lil' treat bag with my Dinasaur floss-a ma-jig... that was rough, now MOM let's get the heck outta dodge!!!! I've had enough for Today!

Proud of you son...the great news is that none of his teeth are sooo bad that they need to be extracted..just the 4 front teeth will need white caps over them and 1 upper back tooth they will put a silver crown on it..so this is where I go home and sit and discuss the upcoming bill..which I think after the Insurance covers their part, we'll be left with the $580.00 some odd dollars out of pocket....let's hope my family deductible has been met, otherwise...new baby comes first than we'll get to your lil' teeth Zion....Crazay huh! but it's gotta be done, or otherwise your children will grow up resenting you for the fact that you never took care of their teeth!!!!LOL!! but it seems to all work out in the end!! Don't forget to schedule your 6 month cleaning ya'll!!!!
